Distance...
10,000 meters. Course Certified by USATF.
Start...
1:00 p.m. on Schwenk Drive (two blocks from Dietz Stadium).
Finish...
Dietz Stadium, Washington Avenue.
Directions to the Start...
From the NYS Thruway, go straight at the traffic circle and follow the signs onto Washington Avenue. Make a right at the third traffic light. Dietz Stadium on right.
Parking...
There is VERY LIMITED PARKING at Dietz Stadium on race day and no parking after 12:00 Noon. Runners should park at the at the Daily Freeman parking lot on Hurley Avenue or at Ulster Saving Bank on Washington Avenue..
Post Race Party...
At Dietz Stadium after the race featuring Smokin' Dick Vincent and Friends.
Statement of Limitations...
The Race Director reserves the right to reject any entry. No baby strollers, bicycles, rollerskates, motorized wheelchairs, or vehicles of any kind are permitted on the course. The course will officially close 90 minutes after the start. Competitors still on the course after 90 minutes will be permitted to finish but the roads will be open to traffic.
Awards and Prize Money...
Prize money to be announced by March 10th.
Age group awards will be the first three men and women after the prize money winners in the following age groups: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.
Fire and Police Divisions: The first male and female participant in each category. Winners of the Law Enforcement divisions will receive the Mike Kelly Award. Winners of the Firefighters Division will be awarded the Joe Keller Award.
Kingston Classic / Trooper Biathlon Award: Awarded to the individual with the fastest combined time in the two events.
